Hi, About a year or so ago, I switched from Blogger to a new blog platform. From a blogging point of view – hell, I’m not going to go anywhere near trying to make sense of 2020! 😁 It feels like we’re in the final round of Sim Earth: Turn it up to 11 😛 – it’s been a learning curve. A good one, however. I think I’ve mostly got my head around the posting and formatting. I’m not quite there with getting images to layout properly, but perhaps that’ll be the next step up. Hi, The other day I was at work COVID19 style. As in, I was in the living room with the laptop propped up on an impromptu high ‘desk’ (a shelf 🙂 ), while I sat on a large yoga ball. Seriously, so much more comfortable than an office chair or the sofa, plus the sight frisson of danger that you may roll backwards and legs up in a most undignified way. 🙂 From my office perch I have a good view out to the garden and being in an old house in the sticks, there’s a lot of greenery. Hi, The 20th November marks the Transgender Day of Remembrance. A day in which we pause to remember those we’ve lost to violence and to raise awareness to help stop it. If you are an ally or in the closet, you can speak out when you hear bigotry. Challenge politely when you can. When faced with a bigoted joke, ask the teller to explain it, for a gag exposed to reason is rarely funny. You can push back against political decisions to give a voice of Inclusion and equality, not one of division and hatred. Hi, As someone who maintains two wardrobes, there are times when the differences in the fashion industry’s approach frustrates. As a bloke, my options around trousers, shirts, and boots are fairly static, and therefore easy. At least, they are for a person who shops on the high street – or more accurately, retail park via online. Perhaps if I was more into higher fashion and/or higher expense, there would be more going on, but hey ho. While I have some interest in how I look as a guy, I have more thoughts, interest, and choice in Lynn mode.
