Hi, A couple of bits of PosiBlog style news this week. How good to be able to report that as an opener! 🙂 Getting out? With me starting a new job at the start of this year and being Dog Sitter for the Ever Lovely Mrs J & Youngest during their minibreaks, I’ve not used as much of my holiday as I would. I guess throw in that I’m a four days a week, so what I lose in monies, I absolutely gain in time, freedom, and less stress. Hi, How’s things with you? Hopefully good! Flown the nest Last weekend Child 2.0 and I made our way up the country to help settle him in to his chosen university. The Ever Lovely Mrs J stayed home to keep an eye on the hounds, and because – bless her – she’d come down with a seasonal lurgi. Cue much unpacking, avoiding crowds, and then a wander around the campus to find the important spots. No, not the bar; the library, shop, and next week’s lecture halls. Hi, Ah, how my mood and spirits lift as the season shifts. The warm orange hue of the trees, cooler mornings, and a slight chill to the morning. How I have missed your September, October, etc. All the ‘bers 🥰 Better The DeWookification continues to deliver in terms of body acceptance and dispelling the Dysphoria Goblin. Hi, Today I had the pleasure of some self-care and a morning without anywhere to rush to. Yay for a nonworking day and a stroll through the park to my beauty appointment. Local stuff Well, no rush other than through the traffic, as Nottinghamshire seems to have all of its road upgrades at once 🙂 Not a complaint, given that traditionally, the East Midlands receives less funding on infrastructure and healthcare. However, the city has removed most of the old Broadmarsh shopping centre, and there’s a gorgeous urban park in there now. Hi, I was going to start off by making a wisecrack about being a genderfluid person who’s been struck in one gender for too long. However, it feels a bit meh, given there are many folk who get significantly less freedom than I do. So – and despite me showing said quip, I think it’s better to count my blessings and enjoy what I have.
