Hi, I am thankful that it’s the weekend. Not that this week has been stressful or hard. I think, it overdid it a little last weekend concentrating on building the new Nottingham Chameleons web site. Yes, two late nights (nearly 2am. Tsk. When will I learn!) on Friday and Saturday, meant I wasn’t fully recharged for the week ahead. Still, my own fault, but I’m done now. “If you build it, they will come…” Chameleons had been using a free forum hosting company for just over a decade and the service had been great. Hi, I was going to say, the calendar has fallen funny. But, that would make the opening paragraph, seem in need of a thunk, clunk or other onomatopoeia. Hi folks, Unusually for me, I’ve been away this week. I don’t tend to travel much with work, well, other than the occasional short journey between offices. This time, however, a work-mate and I were off down south for a two day technical workshop. It was very good to be both out of the office, and doing my old job: that of designing solutions and making things better. Much better than making things more complicated, but that’s by the by. My overnight bag was, oddly, considerably smaller than the Thursday night bag I usually take. Just a shirt, some smalls, spare trousers and a wash kit. Hi, After last week’s post about music, I’ve been wandering YouTube’s dusty halls of albums of yesteryear. It’s a strange journey. One that takes you through disbelief (geez, did I actually buy this?), guilty pleasures to happy days and old favourites. A lot of the earlier stuff seemed to be rather shouty, but maybe that was the era. 🙂 There certainly didn’t seem to be much of a pattern, but then, I think that’s like the best things in life. Hi folks, It’s Friday night again and it being February, Winter is giving us a last hurrah before the gentler turn of Spring.
