Hi, The other day, as queued to get into the car park, a lady about my age got out, to request a ticket. This was during the day, and near work, so she was in business mode. Smart skirt, sensible heels, nude tights and a good coat. I don’t know why I’m faffing around saying this next bit, but she looked great. I dunno, maybe commenting on random stranger’s outfits, still doesn’t sit well with me. Go figure. But, her outfit, isn’t main point, as it where, just the warm up. Hi, Larks, it’s a bit late. Still, that’s the penalty for staying up, to watch a film with Little Miss. Usually, she’s tucked up in bed before 9, but tonight, being a Friday, we’ve let her stay up a little. Mind you, she’s another year old – 8 now – and full of character. Hi, This time last night, well, as I type with somewhat cold fingers, I had finally had chance to try on my birthday present. It was a gift from the Ever Lovely Mrs J. A dress, in fact. But, when you’re trans-something-or-other, a gift from your spouse, such as earrings, a dress or suchlike. It’s so much more than a present; it is, at least to me, acceptance. A twinkle in their eye, that they know what they’ve bought you, will delight. Hiya, There is much to be said, in my humble opinion, in the pleasure of the first cup of tea, of the day. With the new job, I’m out and about much more than I was, and some days, you just don’t make time to get a brew. Instead, it’s more a quick cup of water, or swigging the diet soda I bought at lunch time. Still, at least I’m up and about. Hi, Am I glad it was pay day! The Jones Massive have nearly completely the Christmas shopping – yay, Interwebz! – and we will soon be moving on to the wrapping. By all that’s unholy, the mountain of wrapping… Yes, I know it’s not yet December, but we start early. Mainly to spread out the cost and also to avoid the seasonable comedy mess ups and risks of: I’m not sure what I want  The well loved (!) I’d quite like so-and-so, which you can’t get in the shops, or on-line.  Nothing really…. Wrong and then right. Maybe it’s all in the mind?!

Hi, I used to think that time was a constant. You know, the dependable oscillation of an electrically charged quartz wafer, the slow turn of the planet, or the slow arc of the sun across the sky. But no. 🙂 Instead, time seems to run at different speeds. Take for example waking up. The alarm goes and through Herculean effort, I manage to raise not only my eyelid, but focus my eye and swipe ineffectively at the smart phone.  🙂 Apparently, five minutes pass, whereas in my head, it’s ten seconds before the snooze function kicks in.
