Hi,  The other day I was browsing Reddit and I happened to hit on a re captioned 60s comic image, or as the cool kids are saying these days: a meme. 😉 The image to your right isn’t it, but one I’ve tweaked as it feels a bit more trans positive. The other was one of those dramatic head-in-your-hands poses… oh, and 50 underwear which I felt might tip us towards the racy side of things and that’s not where I’m headed with this. Hi, I was out at Chams last night and we had a visit from the fab Trendco team: Nicola and Steph. TrendCo, in case you don’t know, are our friendly neighbourhood wig experts. Chams was fairly busy, so there was a fair bit of interest in the wigs brought in. For me, a good wig is more than something that works for your face, or your outfit. It becomes, at least for me, a part of my identity. My current do is darker than my natural hair colour. While I’ve tried lighter colours, I find myself coming back to chestnut colours time and again. I’ve done long and medium hair, but collar length seems to be working for me. At […]

Hi, Last night’s visit to Chams was just what I needed. Funny isn’t it, how just a few hours as you (or more accurately, all of you) makes so much difference. Firstly, a note of thanks to those of you who asked after me. Either via PM, email, this ol’ blog, or face to face. Secondly, an apology from me over the somewhat darker tone of late. How can I put this? I had the most excellent holiday with my family. Some travel, a variety of hotels, great food, beautiful scenery, and many days together, rather than at the colouring in department. Hi, Ah, hear that? That’s the sound of a long weekend and half-term starting. A whole week with no work! Just me, the Ever Lovely Mrs J and our two lovely nippers. Hi, Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to go to a funeral of a friend’s dad. There is that collective noun of gentlemen, but, and not to labour the point, not all gentlemen are, if that makes sense. He was. But, and this may be obvious, I think there are two reasons to go to a funeral: one is for yourself, the other, is for other people. BTW, when I say yourself, if it’s your funeral, your attendance is usually a given. Hi everyone, First off, happy new year. Yes, I know we’re a week or so into it, but better late than never. The observant amongst you will notice that I didn’t post anything last time.
