The eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed the lack of posting this week. For those who popped me an enquiring note, thank you.♥️ Midweek I found myself with nothing I wanted to say and I put off any further thought, thinking that something would arrive by Friday. It usually does, in this blogging lark. A stroll in the countryside, the reflection on something said, or the report of Being Out & Being Me, etc. They all go into the whirlpool of imagination. Hi, Last night’s online meeting went from When Shall We Three Meet Again to the Fab Four. Despite occasional WiFi snags and some interface issues, a group of us got together for an hour or so. While talking through a headset isn’t quite the same as meeting up, it helps, and the shared laughter raises the spirits. I should add that that’s not in a necromantic and/or demonic manner. Can an atheist be possessed? 🤔 Part of the conversation turned to writing, or more accurately blogging, if there’s a difference. Hi, I find blog writing somewhat odd some days. What I mean is, I have an idea – or even ideas – of what to write about, yet when I come to actually doing it; I struggle to find an opening line. Instead, like now, I tend to find that I just have to go for it. Typing away as I’m talking to someone, and perhaps, in some odd little way I am. Hi, It’s an early post for me as I’ve just finished one of those distance training courses. Not the old school learn by post kinda thing, but a learn-by-Skype style classroom. You get a little video of the class, remote access to the system you have to work on and you get to see the presentation slides. Luckily, there’s no return video feed – and we’ll come back to that in a mo 🙂 – but you can ask questions using the chat or microphone. Hi, I’ve finally succumbed to partially decorating the office. Not that I’m a Scrooge like character, far from it. I draw the line at enforcing festivities on other folk….. as a rule. 😉 The office was looking very grim with the dark windows and sometimes, a bit of tinsel lifts the spirits. Hiya, So, the cusp of December already. Well, I say already, it’s been a while since the last one, (Ed: a year, Lynn. Twelve months, you numpty), but it doesn’t seem long since it was Christmas. Still, we’re just about done on the Xmas shopping front. Just a fair bit of wrapping to do and ensuring the stash remains safely away until the big day. Part of me has a slight worry that one day, Wee Man or Little Miss will rummage through the cupboards and find my other wardrobe. Okay, so to speak.
