Hi, I hope you’ve had a good Christmas and maybe you got (or gave!) some cool presents. Have you managed to polish off the remains of the left-overs and the metric tonne of chocolates? I think we may have had our first proper dinner today. Okay, it was homemade pizza, but at least it wasn’t turkey sarnies. Hi, Earlier this week it was International Women’s Day. I am not a woman and I doubt I’ll ever make the journey to become one. There are some who believe that trans women can never be women. I’m not going to address that in this post and for the record, trans women are women. So, do I think of myself as a woman when in Lynn mode? No, I don’t. I’m a part timer. Trans, possibly, but wholy ‘male’ in behaviour? Not so much. I’m someone not quite wholly in one camp or the other. Charging the batteries

Hi, These last few days have been a bit of a blur. That rushed loop of wake, eat, school run, work, sarnie, work, commute, tea, breath, Netflix and bed. In other times I’d have found that routine stifling, almost a treadmill. Yet, this month, it’s been a familiar comfort. Perhaps, I am drifting, but I tell myself that the want of excitement, distraction or fun is not regular. They’re the occasional peaks and without the mundane, or even the lows, there can be no peaks. With Autumn’s golden colours across the trees, I had a pleasant walk and a talk with Andrea. Nine years later

Hi, Once more into the Blogger interface, dear friends, once more. I could continue to torture that fine piece of English writing, but probably best not too. 🙂 Holiday I’ve missed a week, given that the Jones Massive were away on a much loved holiday. A week away over half-term, somewhere up north and on the coast. Very windy, rainy and somewhat cold to boot, but that didn’t put us off. I over pack for Thursday, so we’re not short of coats and waterproofs. Hey folks, While shuffling a new monitor on my desk, I found a large round pebble. Nothing particularly exciting about that. It was grey, well worn and smooth to the touch. Perhaps one from a river, or the sea then? Turning it over, I smiled briefly, noting that I’d written Robin Hood’s Bay, 2012, on it.
