“I’m a weirdo,
What the hell am I doing here?
I don’t belong here…”

Hello again dear reader, How’s things in your neck of the woods? Hopefully all is well. I guess it’s time for this week’s sit-rep…. woo, I guess I’ve been reading too much tongue-in-cheek techno-horror, but it sure beats what’s on the television at the mo 😛 Little Miss had another half day taster at school, although this time she hung on to my leg rather than scampering off to join the others. I waited with her for a mo, gave her a cuddle and told her that Mum would be picking her up just after dinner. Luckily, the teacher managed to distract her with talk about the group having a story together, so off I went. One of the other […]

You took my light, you drained me down,
But that was then and this is now,
Now look at me

Hello, How’s things with you? Hopefully all rather good. It is – at least at the time of writing – the weekend and for some of us, that’s two days away from work. Time for you the Jones Massive to duck the treadmill of modern life and kick back into the slow lane. With luck, there’ll be a spot of lunch, a few walks in the park and if the weather stays good, maybe a bike-ride too. Yay for spring! Cheer up, Mrs This week saw the last of my anti-miserablist sessions, or as the NHS like to call it: CBT. The session was fairly brief, just a summary of what we’d talked about and a bit of the obligatory […]

“But a girl she doesn’t live by only rock ‘n roll and brew”

Hello one and all, It’s been busy-busy-busy this week. The type of busy that requires three words and two hyphens for emphasis. Hell, any busier and I’d have to throw in an exclamation mark! Oh, there it is. 🙂 Yeah, so work; rather frantic, but in a good way. Lots of things done, items ticked off the list and folk genuinely helped…. which is why I feel I’m there. All good stuff. Therapy time again last Monday – and this coming Monday for that matter – and it went fairly well. We talked briefly about how I’d felt since the last meeting and I did my best to be open and honest. Basically, I felt like sh** after the last one 🙂 […]

“I got a reason for the devil inside you know”

Hi, How’s things with you? After last week’s not-much-is-going-on post, events have picked up a little. Home-life and family is going well, which is not to be underrated. Parents Evening will be upon us soon and if I can get an early pass from work, I’d like to pop along and see Wee Man’s work on show. Trans-wise, I saw some very nice shoe boots while out shopping with the Ever Lovely Mrs Jones. At twenty quid, I couldn’t really say no, so armed with the takings from my piggy bank, off I went. Luckily, said shop – or rather supermarket – had clothes for him & her as well as changing rooms. So it was a repeat of the […]

“I itch my skin jump up and say,
‘Lady, I know why your thoughts turned grey'”

Hello dear reader, How’s things with you? Hopefully, all is well and if not, soon will be. Today I’m in a rather jubilant mood and that, perhaps like a fine meal, is something to be savored. I was going to make a gag about events conspiring with me, but I couldn’t quite get it to work. Ho hum! 🙂 So why the all round pleasantness? Well, since you asked (!), a few things have built up to boost the good vibes and lay low the not so good ones (although the latter have been but minor bumps, rather than the proverbial face kick. Yay for progress!). To start with, it was my birthday a little while ago and other than some nice gifts, I […]

“We’re pretty, a-pretty vacant…
And we don’t care”

Howdy all, I think it was around Tuesday, possibly mid to late afternoon, that I found myself thinking about wanting to feel pretty again. To our non-trans reader(s), that may sound a bit odd, but then I’ve never found the whole trans thing to make any particular sense. 😉 So after a good six weeks or so, the Trans Force returned. Not with a bang, but the gentle nudge of be nice to stretch those legs and make an effort, no? Despite being unable to shift the holiday induced spare tire, or so it felt, I packed a bag – with just the one outfit mind (Ed: another first?) – and headed off to Chameleons. Despite a little issue in […]
