Hiya, As way of a change, this week I’ve been away on a course. Not the tucked away in a hotel type of thing, but just away from the cut & thrust of the office. This time around it was a change from the technical and on to matters of a team focus. I found the whole thing interesting, but I think that was mainly due to the people I was with (lots of new people for all over the firm) and all the conversational stuff that went on. People swapping stories and life experiences, that type of thing. Hi, So, last week on sick leave before I go back to work. It’s been different being off it physically, but with it mentally. What I mean is, when you’re ill, like with flu or a bad stomach, your brain is a little all over the place while your body attempts to get over the situation. This time around, despite an amount of ‘ow’, I am fairly with it, so it’s been good in that I’ve been able to catch up on reading and enjoy life in the slow lane. Hi, This time around it’s a quiet week and as I’ve said before, quiet isn’t necessarily bad. Sure, I don’t mind watching a bit of drama second hand – so books or film – but experiencing it first hand isn’t always quite so welcome. 🙂 Midweek Mid week I booked an afternoon off to do a spot of shopping. Not the trans stuff, but the more mundane things such as new bloke clothes. My trainers have reached optimum comfort, which in real terms, means they are in danger of dropping to pieces when I least expect them too. Hi, How’s things? It seems the autumn weather is slowly starting to make itself known. There’s a little edge of the morning or lunchtime walk: do I or don’t I take the brolly with me?
