Hi, Wow, am I glad this week is done. I don’t know if it’s the prospect of a long Christmas break, one too many middle of the night wake-up calls from one of our dogs (3am should only be seen after a very good party, otherwise, it’s just plain rude), or the seemingly long period between our last holiday (October) and today…. Ah, but it is, at least, the weekend and it’s not far until work closes down for a stint. Oh, and I used the remainder of my holiday up. Hi, This week has been somewhat of a strange journey. The Good, the Bad, the Average and Unique, as a favourite band of mine once sang. Let’s start with the good stuff and end of a high, eh? The Good… I was so glad to see the rain today. Down it came, in sheets and torrents, spilling through flooded gutters and pooling in patterned puddles, that danced under the droplets. And yes, down came the temperature and the cloying heat that had hung about Nottingham. Hot weather, nice for lazing around in, bad news for trans folk and folk at work. Hello dear reader, Today has been a gift. If you will, a bright gem within the regular mud of routine. To start off, I met with Andrea, one of the Chams Massive, who doesn’t work too far from me. We met up, had a tea and a chat, then a stroll around the grounds, talking about this, that and the other. Mostly gender / trans stuff, in between trying to help with a lost dog. Hi, Last week I was checking through my RSS feed of blogs and checked to see what the good folk over at T-Central had been up to. If you’ve not been over, the site is worth checking out. They not only keep a long list of trans blogs, but they also do a feature post. Usually, posting a link to a trans blog article that’s a thought provoking read. Not everyone’s the same, but we’ve got a lot in common

Hiya, There is much to be said, in my humble opinion, in the pleasure of the first cup of tea, of the day. With the new job, I’m out and about much more than I was, and some days, you just don’t make time to get a brew. Instead, it’s more a quick cup of water, or swigging the diet soda I bought at lunch time. Still, at least I’m up and about. Hiya, The white space that’s the Blogger interface has been open a good twenty minutes, and yet, other than right now, I’ve yet to put anything in. Not that I’ve writers block or anything, I’m either easily distracted, or a terrible procrastinator. (Ed: The Procrastinator. He’ll be back… possibly… or not. Maybe).
