Hey folks. How’s it going? Sneer or cheer? For the first time in a long time I watched the Pride of Britain Awards. Normally, that kinda thing doesn’t pique my interest, but somehow I ended up watching it (tissues at the ready). To be honest, I found it really quite refreshing to see everyday folk be rewarded for their bravery or hard work. Another week shoots by eh? All good things come to s/he who waits? After a few less than productive shopping trips, I hit paydirt this week. Not only did I manage to get a pair of round toed stillies in my size (that were not cripplingly narrow) but a got a new wrap dress too. Yes, they may be soo last season, but then so are the ever flattering boot-cut trousers and I shan’t be chucking them out any time soon. Especially if the alternative is leopard-print. You Are What You Eat or Spendaholics? A while ago the Beeb used to run a programme called Your Money or Your Life – which I rather enjoyed to be honest. Anyhoo, initally the presenter would show a person their debt using one pound coins for each ten quid of debt. All rather simple.
