Hi, This week has gone rather quickly, given the bank holiday and then a day off, with the Ever Lovely Mrs J. Yes, we took a day off together, and nipped into town for a fancy lunch and Mrs J’s hair appointment. Wee Man and Little Miss were busy at school, so it wasn’t like our usual trips out. Hi, Not a holiday, but certainly a long weekend away from the red tape machines. A glorious five days off for the Jones Massive. Okay, four for the kids and an extra day for the Ever Lovely Mrs J and I. Sure, the pay ain’t always great in the public sector, but the holidays make up for it. Hi, A few weeks ago, at Chams, we had a young chap come to talk to the group, for his research project. He opened with a simple question: What can retailers do for trans people? The way we play these events, is we – okay, muggings, here 🙂 – makes a quick intro for the group, and then we set the researcher up, in a quiet spot. It’s beginning to look a lot like weight gain…

Hi, Well, that’s the first working week of the year out of the way. In many ways, it felt a bit like a cross between a Carry On film and The Walking Dead. (Ed: Carry On Walking the Dead?) Various adults wandering around, some shuffling, as they try to shake off the late mornings and later nights. That and the extra Xmas weight we’ve put down for the winter. 🙂 But it’s over – for now! – and it’s back to family time and other more interesting things. Umm…. Not that much is going on really. Hi, I have something to confess: I’ve started Christmas shopping. Thing is, with two nippers, a lovely wifey and some indecisive in-laws, experience has taught me, it’s best to start early. Even with the blessings of rush delivery, or Prime, leaving things to the last minute, is not a wise move. No, lists are prepared, ideas jotted on scraps of paper, and evenings lost to the Internet search machines. Learning to walk

Hi, Over the last few years of answering emails for Chameleons, there are a few questions, that pop up regularly. One of them is around dress. Perhaps, not unusual for a group of cross-dressing people. But flippancy aside, a question about being judged when dressed. What do others wear? What should I wear? I’m new to all of this, everyone seems so together with their outfits, etc. I think it’s intimidating enough, visiting a new place, where you don’t know anyone.
