Kindness

Hi,A handful of weeks ago, Susie made a reference to Twelfth Night. Now, as someone who loves a good quote, I did take a look at some of The Bard’s famous lines. This one jumped out at me: In nature there’s no blemish but the mind. None can be called deformed but the unkind. So, dare I suggest that kindness is cool? Going back a little further, and some readers may be aware of the sad passing of Keith Flint, the force majeure frontman for The Prodigy. It seems he was a kind fellow by all accounts. Disquiet

Hi, That’s another working week in the bag. Hello, weekend! 🙂 Earlier in the week, a friend recently invited me to a meditation class he was running and I made the effort to go. I’m no guru (no pun intended) but I’m finding it useful, even if I’m not quite as relaxed as I probably could be during each session. Still, at least I’m not nodding off or snoring. Oh, the shame! 😀 So I’m sat knelt on a cushion with my eyes shut. I drift off and just listen to the sounds from outside: birdsong, the wind, and the ripple of water nearby. Moving on

Hi, Am I glad it’s Friday! What a week. Sheesh. I feel like a hamster that’s been through an angry pinball machine. 🙂 None of this is T related. Just the punch-and-you-better-duck of life in general. A parking ticket at work, meetings, botched appointments, website woes*, and other malarkey that frankly…. and as the immortal line goes, “I’m getting too old for this shit.” 🙂 The above is all sorted out, but I could have done without that type of stress. Other stress, like deadlines, workload, and short bursts of dysphoria, I manage to cope with. It’s not so much the pressure, but the feeling of being trapped and unable to fix things that gets to me.
