Hi, In an effort to get a little more exercise, and to get our two lovely dogs to be a bit calmer, in the evenings, I took them out on a walk through the local countryside. Sure, we may not have a regular bus service, any local shop and the Internet connectivity could be a little zippier. But, the scenery sure is nice. Nothing but fields, rolling hills and woodland. Yay for autumn. Cool weather, the leaves begin to turn and we begin the slow trip through monthly celebrations, as we move to Christmas. All, reasons to be thankful. Hi, Poptastic On the way to work I was listening to Radio 4’s The Reunion. For those of you outside the UK, Radio 4 is part of the BBC and it’s talk radio. Not so much speak your brainz phone ins, but interviews, book of the week and other such stuff. Oh, and comedies – either plays or panel shows (yay! News Quiz). None of this modern popular beat combo nonsense, that’s for sure. 😉 Anyhoo, today was a programme called The Reunion, which – perhaps somewhat obviously – brings people together after a long period of time, to discuss and comment on a historic, or social, event of yesteryear. Happy heart

Hi, I don’t know about you good people, but the long Easter Weekend was very kind to me. Plenty of time away from work and with my family. A few long walks in the woods (always a joy to see our dog bounding around) and some time for Wee Man & Little Miss to climb trees, or clamber about on old logs. Oh, there was even a productive visit to Ikea and a chance to clear up Little Miss’s room. She does like to keep her room tidy. Hi, I’m back after a week away on a course. One of those organisational training sessions. It’s been fairly taxing, given the amount of revision and the sheer depth the course went into. Oh and did I mention two exams at the end? 🙂 Still, the deed is done and the die is cast. Just a case of waiting to see what comes back. Really, I’m just glad it’s over, even if it did give me some new ideas and extra skills. I like training – just not that full on! 🙂 Perhaps I should be bothered by result, but worrying about it won’t help and there’s nothing tied to my job about the need to pass. Talking of passing […]

Hi, I had one of those heart-in-the-mouth panics the other day. Not from a Hannibal Lecter point of view, I should add. You know, when you’re having a takeaway pizza. You tip the delivery boy and he says “you’re all heart” and, well, things get out of hand. 🙂 No, not quite the trans panic either. You probably know the one. That cold jolt of fear than runs through your core. You’re just putting your lippy on and there’s a clunk of the front door shutting. Hiya, The white space that’s the Blogger interface has been open a good twenty minutes, and yet, other than right now, I’ve yet to put anything in. Not that I’ve writers block or anything, I’m either easily distracted, or a terrible procrastinator. (Ed: The Procrastinator. He’ll be back… possibly… or not. Maybe).
