So long 2024

Hello dear reader, Did you have a good festive break? I hope so. If not, I’ll cross my fingers for some good luck to come your way. Theme If I had to pick a word to describe 2024, I think it would be steady. Yes, there’s been a few ups and downs across the year, but it would be dull otherwise 🙂 On positive view, the Ever Lovely Mrs J’s health remains, well, steady – certainly no worse. Christmas Ghosts

Hi, Not quite the last post of the year, but certainly the one before Christmas. I guess now would be a good time to wish you the best over the festive period and hope it all goes well – regardless of how you like to spend the time or however you like to celebrate things. Counting down to Christmas

Hi, Hear that? That’s the ticking of the clock counting down to my last working day before the Xmas holidays. It feels quite the luxury to have a long Christmas break, and that’s down to building up unused leave during the year. Perhaps my New Year’s Resolution will be to keep an eye on using my leave and have more regular breaks. Still, a long break at Christmas? Top banana! Comfortable

Hi, Another Friday, another blog post! 🙂 Comfort & Joy A few days back I happened to fall upon the article What does the tightness of our clothes say about our emotions? which chimed given my love of winter, hygge (“who guh“), and leaning into my I’m-not-mesh-I’m-wrapped-up-nicely-thank-you nature.
