While I’m not quite up for a round of piña coladas, I am ready for some downtime. Ah, perhaps one day the money situation will be such that a further reduction in hours would be possible. Hi, I’m suspecting that this post will be a late one. After school activities have swapped to the end of the week, so my usual writing time will be delayed. Not that I mind, it gets Child 2.0 and I out of the house, and while he’s doing his activity, I can have a cup of tea and a think. Hi, Ah, the pleasure of a short working week and the post morning run around of chores done. Just…. don’t look at the dishwasher collection, that’s next on the list after I’ve had a wee break. Hi, Five days. Five full days of the working week, the school run, and some home related faffery. I’ve even tried putting my head on the wireless charging mat, but I’m still not with it yet 🫠 So in an effort to put a break between that and the weekend, I’ve had a haircut (re buzzcut), a tangle with the epilator, and a warm shower.
