A mixed bag

Hi, How’s things? Hopefully good. Heed the spoons I feel I ran out of spoons this week. Not in the literal sense, I should add. If that had been the case, as official Loader & Unloader of the Device Known as the Washer of Dishes*, it would’ve been my fault. Perhaps like all official or ceremonial titles, the truth of it is the work is not done by one person alone 🙂 So, spoons as in this and there was no major crisis or deep, unsettling cause. Hi, I moved to Nottingham around thirty years ago. It’s a beautifully vibrant city that’s filled with people from different backgrounds, ages, cultures, genders, and sexualities. Be gone microscopic terror! Back to the petals and plants that spawned you! -ahem- To that end, I retried some over the counter hay fever relief tablets… and I won’t be taking that brand again. Last summer when I […]

With health issues – physical and mental – plus extra family requirements, holidays – in terms of going away – have reduced. In honesty, I don’t mind this as I’m able to disengage reasonably well. Okay, provided I can distract my brain from its firework show attention span, at least 🙂 Certain political processes beginning with B and the cost of living situation, means that we’re less likely to travel outside of the UK. Given this would probably be a flight, I wonder if staying put it helping out collective carbon footprint? 🤔 Introspection […]
