Hi,  The other week an email arrived in the Chameleons inbox. It wasn’t from a trans person, someone related to some who’s trans, nor a training enquiry. It was from someone who identified as an Admirer. For those who’ve not heard the term before, in general, Admirers are usually men and they like transgender people: generally male to female, but it can be the other way around too. The guy was respectful and it’s probably the second email that the group’s received since I’ve been handling the inbox. Hi, In an online article somewhere far, far, away I caught the line: what did you wish you knew or had someone near you understand? Well, there is a question. Old and new

Hi,  It’s a late post from me as it’s been a busy evening. The computer in the kitchen has popped its clogs (see also creased to be, is an ex-PC, etc) and I’ve not been able to fix it despite trying my luck. This machine is the one Wee Man and Little Miss use for homework and, off course, gaming. Parts of the system can be reused and the rest recycled. The Ever Lovely Mrs J has kindly dipped into the family piggy bank to replace it. I hope it arrives in good health as both children are keen gamers. Hi,  By an odd turn of Fate, matters aligned so I could pop out midweek and run another outreach session. This was for a group out of my usual stomping grounds, so I took a chance to be a little more trans visible. Meanwhile, in a shop, somewhere far, far, away I think there are times when it works to turn up in Richard mode. Hi,  Ah, hello Friday, you end of the week minx, you. The call of a distant bell reminding you that the weekend approaches and it’ll be down tools o’clock for the much-awaited weekend. Hi, When I started this post, I’d just finished running a session at a small conference for a leading counselling organisation.
